3 Recipes for happiness

I was a little hungry.  I was first thinking some popcorn.  Then I thought chocolate.  I myself am a food junky.  Put just about anything in front of me I will eat it.  I even eat a lot of veggies, though I don't think I could be a vegan or a vegetarian.  (though my son is)  I have been lucky in life and been blessed in many ways.  So I thought I would have some fun and look up some recipes for happiness.

So here are 3 recipes for happiness from the internet.

 

 

2 Heaped cups of patience
1 Heart full of love
2 Hands full of generosity
A Dash of laughter
1 Head full of understanding
Sprinkle generously with kindness
Add plenty of faith and mix well.
Spread over a period of a lifetime
And serve everyone you meet.

1. Take twelve whole months, cleaning them thoroughly of all bitterness, hate and jealousy.
   Make them just as fresh and clean as possible.
2. Now cut each month into twenty-eight, thirty or thirty-one different parts, but don't make the whole batch at once.
   Prepare it one day at a time out of these ingredients.
3. Mix into each day one part of faith, one part of patience, one part of courage and one part of work.
4. Add to each day one part of hope, faithfulness, generosity, and meditation and one good deed.
5. Season the whole with a dash of good spirits, a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of plan and a cupful of good humour.
6. Pour all of this into a vessel of love.
7. Cook thoroughly over radiant joy.

1. Take a great big mixing bowl and fill it with a smile
2. Mix half a cup of sunshine with good deeds to last a while.
3. Add a pinch of work and play, a pinch of thoughtfulness and care
4. But don't bake it in the oven, just spread it around everywhere."

Many lakefront home buyers love Lake Chemung because of the reasonable prices of the lakefront homes and the ease of access to Grand River and I-96. 
Lake Chemung is a long and narrow lake.  It is about 1.6 miles in length.  DNR Access to the lake is off Hughes Rd. The west end of the lake is natural.  There are no homes on that part of the lake!
Wilson Marine is on the east end of the lake on Grand River.   Sanitary sewers were installed around the lake in 1994.

 The number of  Commerce foreclosures has dropped off each year.  There are fewer and fewer foreclosures each year.  When looking at Commerce Township foreclosures you have to be prepared to do some work.  So many people do not take care of their homes before they go into foreclosure.  Why spend money on a home you are going to lose your Commerce home?  That is the way the sellers thought before they let their house go.  So many of the houses are in need of paint and carpet.

 On January 23, 2013 there were 8 lakefront homes for sale in Hartland Michigan.  These lakefront homes in Hartland have been on the market an average of 223 days.

There are about 17 lakes in Hartland Michigan.  When I say 17 lakes I mean 17 named lakes.  Most of Hartland's lakes are under 200 acres.  Most are under 100 acres in size.  So if you are looking  for a large all sports lake Hartland Township is not the place to look.  The two biggest lakes in Hartland Michigan are Long Lake and Lake Tyrone.

Abbey Knolls Subdivision Northville Michigan

Abbey Knoll subdivision Northville Michigan is located north off 8 mile just east of Beck Rd.  Abbey Knoll has about 98 homes in it.  The homes were constructed during the years of 1986 -1989.

The subdivision homes are mostly Colonial and Cape Cod style.  Most of the homes have brick/vinyl, brick exteriors, 2 car garages, 3-4 bedrooms, 2 + bathrooms,  and all of them have basements.  The square footage of the homes range from 2300 - 3400 square ft.

Brendel Lake front homes - Brendel Lake real estate White Lake Michigan

Brendel Lake in White Lake Michigan is about 89 acres in size.  It is a private lake in White Lake Township off Bogie Lake Rd.  The lake is a long narrower lake. 

What is nice about Brendel Lakefront homes is that some of them sit on very large lots.  Some of the lakefront homes you can actually feel like you are up north with being only minutes from M-59.  There is a wide variety of lakefront homes on Brendel Lake.  Some are newer, bigger colonials and there are still some old cottages on the lake.

Long Lake lakefront homes - Hartland lakefront real estate

Long Lake is located near M-23 and M-59 interchange in Hartland Michigan.  Long Lake lakefront homes are highly sought after Hartland lakefront real estate because it is a good sized all sports lake.  Long Lake is a private all sports lake that is 146 acres.

There is one Long Lake lakefront home on the lake that is what I would call an estate home.  It is 12,800 square foot lakefront home with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms on 18 acres.  It has a pole barn in addition to the 3+ car attached garage.  I guess you would call it one of Livingston County's lakefront luxury estate home.

But there are some much smaller Long Lake homes that are 1200 square foot ranch homes that were built in the 1930's and 1940's.  They have 3 bedrooms, maybe 1 or more baths, and some may not even have garages!

Many of the Long Lake waterfront properties on the one side of the lake are newer brick home, on good sized lots (from 100 -300' of lake frontage).   That is the subdivision side of the lake.   On the other side of the lake some of the lakefront properties are large.  Some are bigger than 1 acre.  Whenever you are looking for a Long Lake lakefront homes you want to know what the comps are.  What are the latest sold prices on the lake?
